It would be great to have the video export feature in the Full Sibelius, just like in Sibelius First. It would be even better to be able to choose which staves one can export.
I've discovered with the new 7.5 that video and audio don't sync up at all. Page turns are typically 2-4.5 measures late in both the zoomed in view as well as full page view.
Sibelius' video/mp3 playback always needs a few bars to fully sync with the score playback. The timecode offset feature also needs to be improved!
When exporting audio or video files, the relevant information in the Sib file (composer, copyright, etc.) should be entered into the same fields as the media file.
It's rather a PITB to have to seek out a tool with which to edit these fields afterwards.
This is either a request for help or a request for an upgraded feature, depending on whether I've just missed something. WHEN EXPORTING TO VIDEO with a playback line, I'd like the line to smoothly track the music, as it does during playback in Sibelius. In addition to the written tutorials how about a series of how to videos for beginners through to advanced. Subjects from basic setting of score to advanced features regarding notation, playback and media mixing. Adobe have "product evangelists" - hate that phrase but I have learned things from them nonetheless.
Sibelius' Share Video is a great feature and there are many examples of its use in YouTube and other video formats. Most, if not all, seem to lack visual clarity even when viewed using today's high definition displays. Since the viewers are not only interested in the sounds but also the composition being displayed, it would make sense to have the option to output the video from Sibelius at HD levels of quality. Unfortunately, it seems to be impossible in Sibelius 7.5.1 to turn off anti-aliasing for note lines or stems when exporting video. This makes videos look blurry and low quality, even when the highest quality settings are used. Please incorporate video export without anti-aliasing, so lines and stems remain clear!
