Scorch or a Sibelius file viewer app for Android devices that let you transpose the score would be extremely useful.
Please create a full-fledged sound set for Garritan Personal Orchestra 5. Sound sets for older versions of Sibelius, at least for 7 and 7.5, should definitely be available as well.
In Sibelius 7, after importing "Transfer.opt" from PhotoScore, the default Sibelius Save-As folder is incorrectly left as the (rather obscure) folder that "Transfer.opt" was found in, instead of, more correctly, the default Sibelius scores folder.
This bug was introduced in Sibelius 7. In earlier versions, after importing "Transfer.opt", the Sibelius Save-As folder was set to the default Sibelius scores folder.
The Scorch browser plugin is now incompatible with all major browsers on all computer platforms, because all major browsers are going to 64-bit. There is now no browser, 32-bit or 64-bit, that can run the Scorch plugin on the Mac platform. ScoreExchange just announced that they are trying to find a way not to use Sibelius Scorch to sell sheet music anymore, and so is every other business that relies on Sibelius Scorch ...more »
Could you please improve the sounds on Scorch when playing back the score... People are selling their scores on score-exchange and a good sound is always selling point. Why not a licence-agreement with, lets say sonivox SF, so the sounds come along with the plugin installed locally on a users computer. http://www.sonivoxmi.com/ProductList.asp?new=1&lstSort=Instrument&mnu=List&lstShipCode=D&optDetail=D&lstSynthSearch=Soundfont&sfpict=1&pagetitle=SONiVOX%20-%20Soundfonts&a1b2=379988135 ...more »
Sibelius crashes with a "division by zero" error when importing a MusicXML file if the MusicXML originated with a Finale score in which the Patterson plug-in "Beam over Barlines" had been used to split a beam over a barline which is also a system break or page break. Sibelius should not crash, no matter how strange the MusicXML might be. Attached is (a) a sample Finale 2014 file with such a split beam over a system ...more »
In previous versions of Sibelius, one could perform a marquee (or lasso) selection of multiple objects, by Shift-dragging (Windows) or Command-dragging (Mac) a rectangular box around them.
In Sibelius 8.0.0, marquee selection does not work, except for the sub-case of a passage-selection when the marquee includes a complete staff. Selections of all other types of object do not work.

During execution, a DOS box appears and disappears. AvidAppManHelper consumes ~25%CPU and sends the C: into 100% usage during its run time. Visual indications include ...more »
The first endings always end (graphically) somewhere in the next bar, not exactly above the bar line, when adding it to a completely selected measure. There is a workaround, you can make it right by not selecting the whole bar but only the notes and rests inside that same bar, but sometimes it's empty, and then it won't work...
Make the Inspector's visibility a program preference. Right now I have to pin it up for every new score. I use it all the time and just want it to stay out.
