The import of ideas from file has been broken from Sibelius 7.0.0 onwards, and is still broken in 7.5. Starting from the Ideas Detailed View, click "Import", and in the "Import Idea" file dialog, select an .ideas file, and click "Open". You will then be presented with a "Set Idea Destination" dialog (illustrated in attachment), which is missing the expected "OK" and "Cancel" buttons, so at this point you cannot proceed ...more »
In Sibelius 7, after importing "Transfer.opt" from PhotoScore, the default Sibelius Save-As folder is incorrectly left as the (rather obscure) folder that "Transfer.opt" was found in, instead of, more correctly, the default Sibelius scores folder.
This bug was introduced in Sibelius 7. In earlier versions, after importing "Transfer.opt", the Sibelius Save-As folder was set to the default Sibelius scores folder.
Since Sibelius 8, when adding an instrument, the prompt for instruments when you search does not show the entire text, but just a portion of it followed by ... . Previous versions showed a longer instrument name (so it was easier to differentiate "Trumpet" and "Trumpet [no key]"
