When user defined shortcuts are added, display them in the 'tip' that appears when mousing over ribbon/menu items. Only default shortcuts are presently displayed.
I wish there would be a button to add new-created text-styles to the dropdown-menu on the text-ribbon.
Whenever starting a score I have to either enter some text and then change the style or I have to search the style-list.
Adding expressions (such as dynamics like pp, mf, etc) or technique text (such as divisi, con sord., etc) could be simplified by adding those two options to the contextual menu (right click/control click) and appropriate submenus to reveal their options. I might be a good idea to change the context menu (win: right mouse-click) when a bar or more is selected.
This context-menu could contain the following list:
notes, articulation, text, lines, slurs, etc.
So, in fact, one will have a user-friendly and intuitive rough filter when it comes to copying/adjusting specific elements of one or more bars.
Just an idea to keep the work-flow as a top-priority.
I am wondering whether any of you had met this issue yet. I met this issue with Sibelius 7 / 7.5 / 8 / 8.1 under OS X Mavericks / Yosemite / El Capitan; However, this bug does not exist if under Windows. Please address this issue to make sure context menu displays as what they look like on Windows: Multi-column and complete display.
I encountered a problem with playback-configuration dropdown menu.
When creating a lot of specific configurations I am not able to select them in the dropdown-menu being that the list is limited to some items without any scroll-function. So a lot of configs are hidden and not selectable.
I am running a win7 64-bit version on my pc. I am not sure whether or not this occurs on different machines.
When going through the drop-down menu to create a new text, the last panes with the textstyles aren't controlled by keys, in contrary to the previous panes.
