Quartertone Intervalls and transforming tools

It is inevitable to consider quartertone intervals as autonomous intervals instead of "superchromatic alterations " of the "well tempered" ones. Having a given line containing quartertones, it must be that it's inversion, or retrograde, contains the same quartertone equivalents as the original. Especially oboes, with accent >.
