I read the article on the unofficial Sibelius blog about creating cutaway scores, and I must say that I am intrigued by this modern scoring format. Unfortunately, it is entirely too much work to accomplish when it would be possible to include a simple feature to completely hide a selected measure from view. There should be a handle on both the beginning and the end of every staff-system so that one can create individual indentations in every staff-line ie. in a vocal part the 3rd and 4th line start in the middle of a page while all the others are aligned to the left.
This belongs to parts with only one instrument....
For grandstaff works requiring extra staves including those with ossia passages the CTRL+SHIFT+UP/DOWN command does not work properly. If the notes have been placed on a stave below the parent staff using this command does not return them to the parent staff but sends them instead to the top staff in the part. Sometimes it would be reallly useful to be able to flip the direction of one of the end hooks independently (for instance in certain cross staff situations).
I frequently have to make changes to the default spacing between staves - either in a full score or in parts. Often, though, I will want to ensure that this manual spacing is consistent between multiple staves. It would be great if it were possible to select a group of staves, hit "Distribute Staves Evenly" and have the spacing average out between them.
