I have a large collection of MIDI files, and these MIDI files often have repeating sections. Now I want Sibelius to automatically and intelligently recognize repetitions in the imported MIDI file and "shorten" the score by cutting the repetitions and intelligently adding repetition bar lines, 1./2. endings, D.C. als Segno, DaCapo, al Coda, etc. etc. etc. The resulting play-back of the "shortened" score then should be ...more »
Make two staves virtually link their contents. Example 1: Notation staff and tablature staff: When a note is changed/added/deleted in the tablature staff it will automatically be changed/added/deleted in the notation staff, and viceversa. There are plugins to modify the original score or a copy of it to add count-in bars at the beginning of the score, which has a number of disadvantages. Sibelius currently can play a count-in when recording, so why not OPTIONALLY play a count-in at playback start? (Either when playback starts from the beginning or at any position in the score). Add a shortcut to enable/disable count-in.
